My foot/ankle is MUCH better, but I still have to wear this stupid boot thing sometimes. Anyway, The chain applies the engine torque directly to the frame, instantly. It's AMAZING how much torque is wasted by the motor mounts and the misc. flex in the frame. You really just have to experience it to understand. i learned by accident. Years ago, I had a busted drivers side motor mount, and rather than buy a new one, I chained down that side of the engine. That fukker almost pulled the drivers tire.
