Yes, you can put a 5.0 in the lx's with 4cyl. But it takes a fair amount of work, if you really don't know that much about cars or know someone who does. I would steer you away from this project, but if you know someone who will honestly help you it can be fun and rewarding. My best suggestion should you decide to do this would be to get a v8 car for parts (a wrecked one) because you will need the motor, wiring, computer, transmison, Trans cross member, rearend, exhaust, and other small pieces.
