Angry No Torque

Ive got a 67 fastback with a 302, T-5 trans, Tri-y headers, Holley dual plane high rise manifold, 600 cfm Edelbrock carb, and 3:70 gears. I feel that with this combo that I should be shot into the back seat when I punch the gas but it really doesn't begin to "pull" until I get up around 3000 rpm. The 302s cam specs are not known but I do have a pretty rough idle and poor vaccuum so I know that it isn't stock. I have already checked the compression, vaccuum leaks, timing etc and all of that is fine. Should I be looking into recalibrateing the carb richer, getting an H-pipe?????? Any input is appreciated. This has all come about because I just added the 3:70 gears from a 3:00 set and the only big difference that I see/feel on the low end is that the car revs up faster. I don't notice much difference in the way that the car "pulls" until I get up to 3000rpm and then it feels good. Thanks in advance for the help.
