Shelby2, if it's anything like my '66, there's A(accessory), off, I(ignition), and S(start)on the ignition switch.. All the accessories come off the terminal straight out the back of the ignition switch. The I terminal from the switch goes to the I terminal of the srarter relay on the fender apron and feeds the ignition circuit. The S terminal of the switch goes to the S terminal of the starter relay and functions only to engage the starter motor. All of the stuff conncted to the A terminal of the ignition swith is powered when the ignition switch is in th A position or the I position. Of course there is a power lead coming to th ignition switch from the battery the give power to these other terminals. Hope this helps.
