I had to lean the metering rods and primary jets down. I used the chart in the instructions that came with the carbs. I went two steps lean. My car would build up black soot in the flowmaster while I was driving normal [this is when vacumn is high and the rods are down], then when I would stand on it I put out enough black smoke that it looked like a diesel. Nice and clean now, just a hint of black.

Don't run it at the track. Sorry.

The rear is a 9 inch with 3.50 traction lok. And I run 225/60/15 tires. They may be 235, but I don't think so. I would run out in garage and check, except I keep it in one of those inflatable bubbles. IT IS NOT A TRAILER QUEEN !! Just easier to keep clean in garage with bubble and in humid FL here it keeps it from mildewing too.

The roller will make a difference. Mine did. I changed from a normal Crane hyd.

I also added Shelby style Traction masters. They sit up close to springs and look good too. They also work.
