I have high backs out of an 86 stang in my 66. You have to transfer your 65 tracks onto them, but its easy. You can even re-drill the holes in seats if you want more legroom (move the tracks back, as I did). I'm 6'1" and I fit without any problems (leg & head). If you are shorter you may be able to leave the 8? tracks on because the bolt pattern (through floor) is the same. They are MUCH more comfortable, and really help when driving aggressively (Autocrossing, etc).
