Got the friction modifier from the Ford dealer and put it in with the Mobil 1 synthetic gear oil that I already had. According to directions from my shop manual, I took the car out and ran it for awhile to get it mixed up. Then I went to the local high school stadium parking lot and ran the car in tight circles both right and left. About 10 each to work the modified gear oil into the clutches. Presto-change-o, no more chattering in corners. You couldn't tell it from an open differential. I wondered if that would hurt the performance in a straight line, so I went for a G-Tech test at my usual spot. No problem there, 2 black stripes about 20 ft. long. 0-60 in 5.4 seconds. About as good as ever. It's hard to believe that that little 4 oz. bottle of what looks like 3-in-one oil could make so much difference. But it did. Thanks again for the help.
