Well, lets answer your question about the Shelby Coupes first. Yes and no. There was no regular production Shelby Coupes made.

But there were two experimental Shelby Mustang coupes made in 1968 (pretty sure it was 68, could be 67) One was called "Little Red", it was a Red coupe with a dual quad 428 that wore twin Paxton superchargers. As far as records show, it was crushed.

Then you had the car know as Green Hornet, its still around, and was discovered several years back, although records shown that car was destroyed also, but the owner of the Green Hornet has subastantial proof that it is the orginal. It had just a dual quad 428 Super Cobra Jet.

In 1967 there were no convertibles offered. Convertible Shelbys started Regular production in 1968. Heres the figures for convertibles.
