Rev...As the car sits now, it would require a 6 inch cowl hood. According to a company called MPGHeads, they make a set of headers, combined with motor mounts, that allow you to run your stock hood. You do have to drop the end link on your steering gear down 1 inch to clear. www.mpgheads.com
The headers and mounts I bought came from another source, and do not fit...I have been back and forth with those guys..but no fix yet. Oh...the 68 is going to be my street driver. I am just having too much fun with the 65 FB at the strip. The 347 is in, and even with a gear change from 4.86 to 4.33 it went 10.09 @ 132. This was on a 100 horse shot. I needed 200 horse and 4.86's to equal that last year.
