If you buy it, be prepared to be a long term owner. Flood damaged cars are hard to sell, so if the car turns out to have a ton of problems, you'll be up a creek with no paddle.

Try to find out how flooded, and by what kind of water it was flooded. It's also important to know how long the Cobra was snorkeling.

Check the oil, make sure there is no water in there. Even if it's clean, you're gonna have to change all the fluids. That includes the gas.

Everything will need cleaning, the interior may be past saving. The carpet should come out for sure. It'll need to be steam cleaned.

Damage to the electrical system is possible, likely if the water level got very high. The computer will need to be taken apart and inspected, along with an inspection of any electrical components that went below the water line.

You should give it a tremendously throrough cleaning, everywhere you can get water or a rag. Inside the door panels, underneath, everywhere, take apart everything that the water got into and clean it. After that bring it to Ziebart and have them rustproof it and all that jazz.

Basically anything and everything that came in contact with the water will need to be cleaned, flushed, and inspected.
