It would appear that some of the self proclaimed bike experts here know very little about them in the real world.
No early or mid 90's 600 has even close to 100hp. They all dyno in at about 65hp. The 750's crank out a few more, like mid 70's. Not 120. The 900RR currently made doesn't even crank out 120rwhp. The new 600's do not dyno at over 100rwhp. They dyno in the mid 90's. So please, if you want some respect, and you want to be able to prove your point, know what you're talking about before you start jabbering. I see somebody brought the Hayabusa into the argument. Come on, do you really think the very lightweight for it's size, 1300cc, 150hp, ultra modern king of the sportbikes has jack **** in common with the run of the mill early's 90's 750? Let's be real. That's like comparing the a new '01 Mustang Cobra to a 1977 Mustang Cobra II V-6.
I have raced my buddies '93 FZR 600, I had him by about 1/2 a car from 20-80. I've raced a CBR 600 F2, again I beat him, and that was with my old car from a 40 punch. It was a stock '88GT.
I don't doubt rbatson's claims for a second.
