Not to start anything here, but since when do mustangs lose 20% from the flywheel to the wheels? Ever since I can remember they lost anywhere between 15-17%, but NEVER 20. If this car dynoed 383 rwhp, that would be about 330 bhp, which would be more than my est of 320(sorry guys my mistake) But the main issue here if I understand correctly is can he beat 99-01 GT's, Z's and SS's or WS-6's. GT's YES. Z28's, well that, as it has been already stated before, will pretty much be decided by the drivers. I have never seen a LS-1 dyno under 280 rwhp, most have been around 285-290(Z28's and T/A's ONLY, not WS-6's or SS's) They weigh about the same as the cobra, and lose about the same amount in the drivetrain. The WS-6's and SS's are pretty awesome as far as factory power from what I have personally seen and read. When I dynoed my car there was a local guy with a 2000 SS with a filter and flowmasters that dynoed 308 rwhp. He said his factory setup dyno was 298, and I believe it. So say they only lose 15%, then a factory SS would run about 340 bhp, so you would have to be an awesome driver to take down a ram air foe given he is a good driver. Just my opinion though, to each his own...
