I think only ricers are afraid of Cobras, just like they are afraid of LS1s cause both are just too much motor for them, but I think part of the fear is who comes up to who and revs. Everytime I see a Cobra (and sometimes a gt if the driver is a guy) I rush up next to them and revv...I guess that might give them the impression that I'm running juice or S/C or some other form of power adder. Hence I don't get many races.
If they knew I'm only running about 320 at the wheels and mid to low 13s they'd be more willing to run. But because I go up to them and WANT to race they think I do it because I know I have enough to beat anything. Frankly I like to win, but part of the fun of racing is the uncertainty of wether you are going to win or get pasted (I mean how exciting is it to race a civic or S2000? when you know you're going to be pumping your exhaust gasses through his intake

). As for Cobras, I've seen cobras that have just cruised after I've revved for like 20 seconds next to them. I've seen a GT that was probabbly running low 12s and an LX that looked like it was about to fall apart and kicked my arse with a passenger in his car. It's not what's on the outside...just what comes out when you push that little rectangle on the floor.
