There is a plate that bolts where the old lower control arm would go on the axle. Then the SSM lift bar bolts to the plate to move the control arms down farther. The directions say that you can drill a hole threw the plate and the oringal mounting location, and put a bolt in there to keep it from moving. But the bolt will snap, or round out the hole in time. It is better to set your pinion angle then weld the plate on to the origanal bracket so nothing well move.
