BennyBoy, I'd think twice about those 3.89 gears. That's pretty much for a street driven C-4. That will spin your motor at almost 3600 RPM at 70 mph cruise. I use 3.25 with mine and turn 3000 at 70. That's about the most that I want to cruise at. Also the HP numbers you're referring to are gross HP. That's quite a bit higher than the net HP that manufactuers use now. I agree with your original assumption. I'm betting you'll run low 14's. The LS1 will probably win, but it'll still be fun. Just more inspiration for future mods. Good luck anyway.
