Dark Knight, the bad thing is that I'm 16 and I am a 3 sport athlete in high school, so I'm pretty busy with that and don't have a job. I do however have a job in the summer, but almost all of that goes into the bank for college. I did manage to get $3k for just the car this summer. But I didn't put quite enough into the bank though. So this summer I'm putting less into the car and more into the bank. I do plan on getting a damn good scholarship though. I have a 4.0 GPA in school and I just took a test that told me that I'm supposed to score a 30-33 on my ACT. And I'm pursuing a football scholarship pretty hard already too. So maybe if I do end up getting a scholarship I can dump a lot of money into my car. Then I can get those Edelbrock RPM heads that I need so badly.

Rev, 3.89s are too much huh? At first I was planning on going with 4.11s, then about everyone and their dog told me to not go that steep, so I figured 3.89s would be just fine. I don't think 3.55s will be enough, do you? I have 3:1 gears now and I HATE them with a passion. My dads 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee (4.7l and 3.73s) will beat my car the first 30 feet of the race because my gears are so doggy then I hit my powerband and they spin forever. I still smoke him through my first gear even when I do spin though. The Jeep's only got 220 or 225 horsepower and nothing much above 3000 rpms. What gears would you recommend?

And also Rev, so those numbers, ~350 bhp and like ~425 lb-ft torque, is there a way to figure them to net hp and net torque? Or rwhp and rwt? Thanks guys for all the help. This site is awesome.
