When my Stang had the stock 2:73's, I raced a '99 WS6 LS1. I had him by an easy car through first gear, but by halfway through second he blew by me like I was his ***** . If I had 3:73's, i think I would have been ahead until third, and then I would have been his ***** , lol. No lie, these LS1's are pretty sick.
At the track in the fall, the only LS1 there was a T/A running 12.7@108 w/ only a muffler (not full catback), bored throttle body, and MAF w/ a K&N. Whats that? like $500 worth of stuff. Good luck though.
