Yea I was also going to say the SS is not any faster than the regular Z28. I know cos they looked the same in my review mirror

Actually it is because the ram-air doesn't do jack (at least not worth what it does for the weight of hood, just looks good) and the SS is heavier.

Oh yea if your buddies car was pre-2001, then it will get spanked by a 01/02 Z28 or SS. Unless he has a lid (exhaust doesn't seem to matter as much on those cars, except the damn cut-out)
