Why do all cops driving Camaros act like ***holes? They don't. A cop is a cop. It doesn't matter if he/she is in a Crown Victoria. He would have ticketed you no matter what he was driving. I'm sure he just had it out for you because you were driving a Stang.

You're right, it was a personal vendetta against you.
About the guy who made the comments that it would take an LS1 to catch Stangs, here's a moment of clarity for you. The LT1 had no problem catching Stangs (still don't!), or for that matter, almost every other "everyday" car you see on the roads.
The B4C-equipped Camaro is THE FASTEST car in the law enforcement fleet of ALL TIME. That includes being faster than the Stangs.
I understand that this is a Ford website, and a great one it is, but c'mon now.....I don't see this much bashing (on Stangs) on CamaroZ28.com. You ALL know that the LT1s and LS1s aren't slow, so why do you say they are? Denial or something? Been wiped up by one too many? Just remember, there's ALWAYS somebody faster.
I like Stangs just as much as I like Camaros. What about brand loyalty? None here. I buy from whomever has what I like. For matter of fact, I'm seriously considering a Bullitt Mustang when they come out! That's one hot car (even though it's slower than the Fbodies). For some people it isn't about speed, it's about what they like.
I was at the DC carshow a few weeks ago, and lemme tell ya....I sat in a Camaro, then a new Mustang GT, and the Mustang was sooooooo much nicer inside. The materials were much nicer, and it felt like it was a better build. When I closed the doors, they didn't sound like they had tin cans in them. I liked the view out of it also. The price? I'd give 22k for one.
However, the Camaro had its very nice points as well. I thought it was ergonomically laid out better, and I personally like "sitting on the floor." I feel like I'm in a sportscar. I also found the seats to be more comfortable (but uglier!), and the interior to be a bit more roomy inside. I've always been a huge Camaro fan, but it doesn't matter to me what type of car I buy as long as I like it.
