I plan to relocate the battery sometime later this year. Will use Moroso vented battery box.

I was referring to initial timing. I'll try setting it back to 20 and then try 24 degrees (total timing @ ~30 degrees). Gonna look into getting another vacuum advance, also (which may be the cause of the hesitations). Friday, gonna change spark plugs (need to) and distributor cap and rotor button.
Gonna try one or two passes at 35 lbs tire pressure then around 28 lbs.
I'm not as worried about getting too much fuel from the carb as I am worried about not getting enough air. Thus, will make sure to run the 1/4 w/o air filter.
If after all this + a refined launch, if I still don't get into the 13s (for some strange, out of this world reason), I'm throwing some slicks on the back which I have no doubt will put me where I want to be (although I shouldn't have to do this to get into the 13s).
