You're right...Texas is pretty much its own little country. In fact, ask most of us which we consider ourselves first: an American or a Texan, and a good majority will say "Texan."

I think you will really like it here. Texas is a great state. Also, the Dallas area is a mecca for Mustangs. You'll never know what you pull up next to.
You'll have to get use to the steaming hot weather in the summer..and some of the severe weather you'll get down there. Anyway, a little incliment weather is good for you...gets the adrenaline flowing. If you want some real severe weather head up to the panhandle sometime and we'll go race a few twisters
. Only thing about 'em is that they're kinda like ricers...they make all this noise and then blow by you when you're not even racing...won't even stop at a light to let you line up.
Seriously though...if I'm in the area, I'll look you up.
