Thanks to everyone who has responded so far. I guess everyone who owns a Mustang has a rare and unique Mustang to them. Keep sending in your information. Anyone who has and 82 and newer try the site link I posted a few messages earlier in this thread. Stew ususally responds in 48 hours.

Your Mustang sounds really cool. I have only ever seen one 1965 "K" car and it was a fastback. How long have you had your car?

Your car is rare indeed, a bench seat! I saw one for sale several years ago, inline 6 auto without any options. Maybe I should have picked it up. I didn't realize there were only 256.

Send Stew your vin and you will find out how rare it is. You don't see many of the 80's or early 90's cars with tan interior. I have a friend who has a 87 red with tan interior, one of 74 with that combo (not sure exactly what red it is).

Your car is pretty rare in that it was the last year for a carb and the first year for factory headers. Hang on to it.
