Spoken like a true well-informed, rational, intelligent person. Why can't more people think like this?

Along side all the technical courses I took in University, I had to take environmental courses and almost every technical course had an "environmental spin" to it. I learned a lot about the environment and the true legal and technical aspects of engineering and business.

I guess why I've quoted that phase is that It seams funny that these groups are willing to spend countless resourses on getting that last 1% of cleanliness (and you are correct the cost is exponential), they ignore countries or area's that are only 10% clean. Why not spend a fraction of the cost and get that region to 80% clean? You'll remove more harmfull crap from the evironment. We all know that pollution knows no borders!

It's like a recent study done by some stupid group (can't recall the name), they rated Canada as the worst polluter on the planet!
Yes per capita our record isn't that good. But there's more people in Calinforina than all of Canada. So our actual pollution contribution is not that bad. Why not target countries like China and India (I'm not trying to pick on these countries)? Per capita they have low polution levels. Well no freakin' kidding!

Ahhhhhh, it's enough to pull your hair out! Oh well sorry to get going again. This whole subject just drives me crazy.

on a different note:

GO LEAFS GO!
