Well, as I recall, the original topic wasn't minivans but lame drivers you meet on the street. I agree with StoplightWarrior here.
One time, I'm cruising on the interstate doing about 60 in the slow lane, no less (in my 'Stang) and a girl in an old (but clean) '70's-era Dodge (not a muscle model) passes me, pulls into my lane in front of me (didn't cut me off) and gives me the finger out her window! What? Why?
I was really annoyed so I jumped on it and pulled alongside of her and shouted "What's your problem?" She didn't acknowledge me and stared straight ahead, probably a little worried, although I wasn't going to do anything, I was just confused as to why she felt the need to give me the finger.
So I paced her for a minute then took off and forgot about it - kind of, but this crap does happen way too much. Just a more crude and nastier society and as the culture gets courser, so do the road incidents.
It's a jungle out there. Be careful.
