Mustang Guy.
I understand where your coming from, I thought fall and winter were the Depression periods, seems like were all having a down and out summer instead.
28, thats still plenty young, you have a whole life ahead of you. Things may be bad now, but look on the bright side. You have a car that has potential, others do not, hell some people dont even have cars.
I know how frustrating it is not to be able to get your projects done in time, or the time that you want to do them. Its kinda like waiting 3 weeks to get a part you oredered, but 10 times worse.
The Girlfriend thing, talk to her about it, tell her how you feel. If she doesnt react or start to change things, its time to take your heart back from her (thats a hard part) Tell her things just arent right between you all and let her go man.
Me and my Girlfriend are working out and walking through alot of problems now, were int eh proccess of patching things back up. Its going to take a while but I think It will be worth it.
Look for the little things in the day that do go right, and that do bring some happiness. Anything from watching a little kid picking his nose at the mall, or those dorky ricers thinkinng there cool. Take notice of anything that may put a smile on your face.
Let your imigination take you away some times, like something that works for me, is looking up at the star filled night sky and imagining what the planets around some of those star may be like, or imagining a black hole tearing apart and cannabalizing a companion star, or look at the moon and imagine yourself there with the first moon landing. Anything to make the day better.
Works for me, but then again I have a strange imagination, and twisted sense of humor (Somewhat childish in a way)
I know my car is a part of me also, and when Diane (64 1/2 with 289) was down and out for a few months because of 3 burnt valves, I felt down also.
If you need to talk to someone, hell, E-mail me, I always have time to help other people.
