I've got a 2400 stall and it is nothing like stock. 2400-2800 is perfect for a street car with no huge power mods. Mine prpbably needs to be re-stalled to 2800. Anyway, my combo works great. I can launch like mofo and can whomp most T5 out of the hole and it is over. 4.10, shift kit (Transgo or Baumann only), and a 2400-2800 converter = mid-low 14's.
Also, let it be known that the 1-d-1 shuffle that NOS_notch mentioned does work and will lower your ET, but it will kill your AOD eventually.
