Believe me, I wanna get the darn thing up as much as anyone does... Just haven't had time, as I've been slammed it seems for months and I've always got so much going on. Hell, the car just spent the last three months sitting on stands just waiting for me to put it back together after doing adjustments to the new racing clutch, which has been an object of much frustration. Now, it is still not completely right as I've come to find out the clutch fork hits the bellhousing and doesn't allow the thing to fully dissengage. So, I now have to get a custom fork some guy makes out of Florida for this application, rip it all apart again, change the fork, and put it all back together again. Whelp, that took me three months or more last time... *sigh* It's a weekends worth of work, but trying to find a whole weekend to do it is the problem...
Yeah, I had planned to be at Norwalk with both the car and the Lightning. Whether I could race or not. Actually, if I had been there I would have been in the tower all weekend posting news, photos, and video to the sites. But, I had last minute family matters arise and had to bail out of the whole thing. Our feature editor, Rudy Rouwehya, and Message Board moderator, Steve Burnard, really saved the day by doing a great job covering the event with out me for Mustang Works.
Any ways, thanks for your support!
