The Lysine Contingent? They didn't HAVE to. The Dino's would die if not fed lysine.
Nobody's FEEDING them Lysine anymore.
Problem is, lots of the plants on the island were lysine rich.
And Dr. Grant DID say that it was a Spinosaurus. We just don't know WHY he wasn't on the Ingen Lists..
