The standard deviation for the WAIS and Stanford-Binet is 115. therefore, 50% of the population has an IQ of 100 or below, 84% 115 or below, 98% 130 or below (only 2% gets above 130), and .1% of the population (1 person in 1000) has an IQ above 145.
