Getting new shocks/struts
When I replace them, should I get the ones that are for a 4 cylinder car, or the ones for a V8?
I'm looking for good weight transfer here, and not handling.
Also, I've got the front sway bar off, and personally, I think that it actually handle's better with it OFF then back when it was on.
When it was on, the car would not lean at all in the turns and the tires would break loose and go into a skid. Now with it off, the car leans a lot, and the tire really digs in. No more dangerous skids.
I've also got coil springs from a 4 cylinder car on the back.
My question is: Should I keep or remove the rear sway bar? And should I keep my V8 springs in the front, or replace them with 4 cylinder springs?
