It's taken so long for us to respond to the 9/11 attack, partly because there's a lot of political chess being played. Although there are plenty of countries condemning the attacks and "siding" w/ the USA, the only 1 so far that is with us as far as leading this extensive war on terrorism is Britain. The other countries, Germany, Israel, India, etc would like to see Bin Laden and the terrorists directly involved in these attacks to "justice", but none want a long drawn out war, they all still have their own agendas and interests w/ the Middle East.
I think that Bush's speach last night was perfect - he said all the right things......he's got one hell of a staff (speach writer included
). We can't bomb every nation where these terrorists are, but what we can do is stop being suckers and funding (monetarily and militarily) all these ****** countries that just want and never give. If it wasn't for us, there'd only be a handful of countries not still living in the stone age. We rebuilt Japan, we rebuilt Germany, we rebuilt France......and none of them are completely in our corner. The U.S. always plays the nice guy. This must stop NOW. If you're not with us, you're against us, and if you're against us......you're cut off.....period!
