That is an excellent idea. However, let's hold off a few weeks here on it. This is because of:
1] We are currently working to have our new connection installed and get it up and running. This is supposed to happen within the next two weeks.
2] We are building a new Web server to power the sites. It will be combined with the one that has been used as our secondary server, which will now become a database server only. Once that happens, we'll be dumping our Unix server that we currently use as our main server.
(We may build a third new server later this year too).
3] Once we are up and running on the new servers and connection, it looks like we will be completely changing bulletin board software. Therefore, there is no reason to modify our UBB to do what you are suggestions, only to turn around and dump it.
