I think Fox Body hit the nail on the head. Personally, I like the "cruisability" of an AOD (and Lentechs kick @ss). I like the overdrive on long trips on the highway. Plus it's got an extra gear for a little more speed on those trips. C6s are just too damn big and heavy for a street car. They're the ticket for 8 or 9 second Pro 5.0s, but they're a boat anchor on the street. C4s are relatively light, can take almost anything a stock-blocked 5.0 can put out (properly built), and are relatively low cost due to their simple designs. My brother had one in his old '91 LX and it was good...but lacked overdrive. With 3.73s it sucked on the highway. So pick your poison. One of these has to be right for you.
