If you place a resiter across the harness of the IAT (Just up stream from the MAF) that measures the tempature of the incoming air, you can fool the computer into thinking its getting colder air then it really is, and it will bump the timing a little.
It sort of, kinda, sometimes works. There's also the Puffin box, which is just a variable resiter that does the same thing. You could do it with a pot too. Radio Shack, resisters from about 100K-120K.
