From my testing the Nitto's don't work near as good as the BFG in a street race or normal drag racing I came to this conclusion when Ezridn got a set of 235/60/15 BFG for his stang and I got a set of 245/50/16 for my stang both stangs sported mac upper and lower control arms with the rest of the susp. being stock but with my car making a extra 75-100hp or so. His stang hooked a lot harder than my car both on the street and the strip, now granted I did not heat up the nitto's very much but I did heat them more than Ezridn and in the end we were within about 1k miles of total use out of them.
But wait theres more the Nittos WILL out handle the BFG and the Nittos kick the $hit out of the BFG in the rain.
But this year I will be ordering the BFG 255/50/16 for my stang because the final results of are test are that the BFG plain out hook the Nitto's
P.S. Neither of these tire hook at all on cold pavement in fact regular comp T/A (VR4)work better on cold pavement the either drag radial
