Cool Got my 4:10's!

I finally had my Ford Racing 4:10 gears installed, and since so many of you were curious about finding out how the mod worked out I wanted to share what I think so far. First of all, I Love it! I am glad this was my first mod. The car flies through the gears with way more gusto than before, and now I can use my screen name "bark3rd" without shame because now my car lays down a nice chunk of rubber when shifting to 3rd! The throttle response is much better as the car stays in the meat of the powerband almost all the time. It feels very natural and almost seems like the car should come like this from the factory. I am very glad I didnt go with 3:73's, I almost did because I was concerned about how high the RPM's would be. Just normally going through the gears around town (normal driving-not flat out) I now will shift at the following RPM's: 1st-20 mph @ 3000, 2nd-32mph @3500, 3rd-43 mph @3000, 4th-55 mph @3000, 5th-70mph @ 2600, 80mph @ 3000. On the highway I am much happier not having to downshift to 4th and redline the tach just to pass someone, now I just step on the gas in 5th and the revs and acceleration are just right all the way up to about 110. (I havent taken up past 110, but over 100 it is revving quite a bit more than with the stock gears but pulls much harder than before). It is hilly here in Austin, and I actually think I shift less now than before. Another obvious but unexpected change is the average exhaust note is higher and kind of gives me that "Ferarri" feel if you know what I mean. Anyway, I cant wait to get out to the track. Any guesses out there for 1/4 mi ET? Unfortunately I never got a chance to be timed before the mod.
