Blue00GT: My 60 ft times averaged 2.1-2.3, I had 5 runs to experiment but the 60 ft times stayed level with several launch methods. I didn't try slipping the clutch, some people suggest that.I noticed some of the really fast cars 10sec, etc., seem to kind of lurch out of the box then nail it-I tried that too but I think I'll have to do it a few more times to get better. Everyone says I should get drag arms and drag radials so supposedly I can lauch at 6 grand and hook up. I also noticed in watching a video that I smoke the tires pretty good shifting into 2nd possibly losing time. I might try shifting at a lower rpm (I was powershifting at 6k). It's mind boggling how hard it is to make up 1/2 sec! Anyway, I'm hoping that my Steeda pulleys and timing adjuster might help make up a little for my sloppy launches. Maybe I'll just run over the guy that sprays water all over the track, I dont think water helps street tires.
