Which Saleen do you have?
Does it come with a blower?
Does it still have the stock cylinder heads\intake?
Has it run correctly before?
I think you'd definately know if the clutch or drivetrain had a problem...
How many miles do you have?
The fuel filter is a DEFINATE possibility, I would change it out...
When was the last time you changed your air filter?
Do you have a K&N? If so, check the sensor in the Mass Air Meter. It may have some of that K&N oil on it.
When was the last time it had a REAL tune up?
New plugs? (make sure they are gapped correctly...)
This will check the basics (Air,fuel, spark)...
