Here is the sad part, the guy with that flamed painted 86 gt just had a motor built 347 (r302) with the same blower and inductions, the old 302 ran best 10.0??, but i think it was just an a4 block, it lasted for a good while but finally cracked the block in half, the guy has also broke several t-5's and tremecs, now c4'd.
now for the sad story, i thought he had this posted on his page, but last time i was at the track, he was gonna tune his car, i was happy to see him there, every stanger loves his car, but to see if he can break into 9's, which he should of easily.
he spun the slicks half way down and ran 10.7, on his return from the return lane disapointed, he noticed it was acting funny, he parked, made some adjustments, and went to start it up...and KABOOOM!! sounded like a pipe bomb, the fuel pressure kept loading race fuel into his intake (he thinks) and when he went to start it, it blew the hood clean off! smashed the winshield, caught fire to his dash and interior

that was a sad night, but luckily he wasnt hurt, judging from the pics, im surprised he's alive.
he is going to rebuild this car, he isnt done yet! but still many stangs aroun here to run low 10's, and a couple ls1's
