“This intake (Performer RPM 5.0 #7126) is exactly what the higher horsepower, naturally aspirated 5.0L Mustangs have been missing. It beat the Cobra intake by 12 horsepower, which peaked at 5500 rpm. The RPM beat the Performer by 6.6 horsepower… but that’s not what impressed me the most. It was the 20 horsepower difference at 6000 rpm, coupled with the way that it kept pulling all the way past 6500 rpm.” — Rick Anderson, Anderson Ford Motorsport

This qoute was taken from edelbroks web page. What I find interesting is that they dont mention the rpm range that the supposed 12 horsepower over the cobra takes place. Was it at 6000 rpm? And if there was a 12 HP over the cobra, and 6.6 HP over the performer, then why the 20 HP difference at 6000 rpm?

They really seem to be hiding something. Any ideas?
