Post CompTIA A+ Exam

Well I just finished reading a 400+ page study book for the CompTIA A+ exam, to realized it was printed in 1998. And the exam was revised in 2000. I thought it talked about Windows 3.1 and 95 wayy way way too much.

I'm SOO pissed. Anyone know whats been added, if I can just get an addition to peice in the new material?

Hey sky,

I am going to be taking my exam within a few weeks and just completed a prep course to get ready for it. I cant tell you the changes but I have two exam cd's...both current. The first is an adaptive test just like the real thing (database of 150 questions) and the second is the one I got from our professer. It has over 800(!) questions and it covers everything. I can burn them for you and mail em to you just send me your address. (by the way, you will want these asap because the test is changing april 1st and it will cover windows 2000 and some other new stuff. (get it done now, once you are a+ certified, you do not have to re-certify when they update the test)

I wrote my exams for it in November. I think it was after the revision. If you read any of the books on the subject and you understand the fundamentals of it all, you shouldn't have a problem passing.

I would suggest the For Dummies series. Sounds odd I know, but they are really accurate to the test (at least when I took it). If you need any more info, just ask away...
