Question Putting together a mild combo???

I have purchased ported E7 heads, E303 cam, and about to purchase a GT-40 intake, when i put all this in i plan on getting a 76MM MAF, 65MM TB, 24lb'ers... is there anything else i should do while i have it all torn down? I was thinking about replacing the timing chain... probably a good idea... any others? Also, after all is said and done how much hp do you think i will get to the wheels with a recently rebuilt AOD, and new stock Torq Conv?

Dont use 24's, there barely better than 19's, get 30's.

Don't get 30 lb. injectors! Jesus.... 24lb. injectors will support up to 450hp. You probaly wouldn't even have to switch injectors to tell you the truth, just get a regulator. I am guessing you'll be putting out around 220rwhp with that combo.

I agree save the money on those injectors and get the Kirbin regulator.. maybe 24's not 30's and turn the Fuel pressure up better to have small injector More pressure then big injector lil pressure.. see my point the E303 is a good "mild cam" like you stated get some 1.6-or 1.7 roller rockers while you are at it.. maybe upgraded valve springs.. and YES new timing chain. Lifters should be good. dont HAVE to replace those HEADERS if you dont have them.. you say you are wanting MILD combo with good streetablity get shorties...... BBK makes a good one I could go on for miles

dont run e-303 cam, especially with an automatic. the e-303 is peaky because it has a 110 LSA, not good for a mild automatic combo. Also it has history of surging idle problems. Get a mild crower cam, that would be better for your combination.

New injectors ia a nice idea, although you really dont need them. I would suggest 24 lbers. for your combination if you want an injector upgrade. 30;s are way to big...

Stick with the 19lb injectors. Get an adjustable regulator. I'm still running stock injectors with my combo.

30#'ers = WAY too big! If you are na you don't need anything bigger than 24#, BUT I would stick with the 19#.

I agree with Mach 1 about the E cam. If you are staying with a stock converter, you will be either stalling at idle (or if you adjust your idle high enough to keep her running, you will be moving foward!).
