rear end-8.8"
what years of mustangs had the 8.8" rear, and how easy is it to fit in a '79?

I'm not sure when they started droping them in, but they will slide into a 79 as easy as a 93.

Ya, I'm preatty sure they both have the same mounts, but I really need to know the year, unless someone has one for sale.
I'm getting deployed next month, but when I get back, I'll have some money ready to buy.

The first year the 8.8 was in the Mustang was 1986.

aw, thank you thank you thank you. When I get back in the states here in about three to four months, I'm finishing up the '79. Just looking for a rear end, anyone have one for sale???
