Looks pretty good. How was the fit and finish of the hood? I was thinking of ordering a 4"SVO cowl hood, but have seen so many bad experiences I'm not sure if I want to deal with them.

The fit was really well. It was worth the money. The bumper is also new it is off my friends red 98 cobra. I am very happy with the hood.

Looks sharp, but do you have any other angles? It's kind of hard to get a good feel for it when it's all white and your looking right at it. It's like a Cobra R with an svo scoop right?

How much work was there to get the hood in shape to paint it? Was it wavy, have any pits or cracks that had to be fixed?

There where no waves but a couple small dings we had to bondo. Nothing major. The hood was priced at $319 but when I ordered it they charged me $270 Well worth it. We did it all in a weekend in our house garage.

Maybe you should look at the pic again. I am fairly to partly certain that aint no MAN standin beside the car. By the way, it is a good looking car.

Whooops. Maybe I should rephrase that : Looks good, ma'am. Sorry, no disrespect intended (I was just really rushing).

Thanks for pointing that out pony_power

Yeah...that's a big whoops regarding gender. Not my particular taste in hoods, but a nice job in fitting and painting it. It looks great. I'm a bit plain myself as I only have a 2 1/2 cowl on mine (not installed by me).
