![]() Ok here is my best run on 25 psi potenza radials:
rt: .929..haha that sux 60ft: 2.22 1/8: 8.97 @ 80 1/4: 13.74 @ 103.4 Here is what I have: 95 Cobra, stock cobra intake, frpp 65 tb, postless stock MAF, K&N, pullies, 1.7s, 58cc gt40x with mild exhaust porting and valve job, crane 2031, 24s, 190 lph, mac shorties, 2.5 off road, 2.5 ultra flos w/ dumps, msd tfi coil, stock 308s, GW LCAs, Tokico 5ways, C springs, Steeda CC plates I have a new stock fpr..due to time constraints i didnt have time to get an adjustable one after i messed the old one up. I know its still running rich, so here's what I'm going to do next. Make a homeade cold air so I can mount my MSD6A where the airbox was, up the plug gap to .06 from .054 and bump my timing from 14 to 16, then go back to the track. I'll get an adjustable fpr in the near future. The exhaust still smells really raw, and in the mornings when it's cold i hear a "popping" sound when i start to drive out of the driveway for the first time....like all of the cylinders arent firing b/c its cold. So im hoping the ignition will help that. My gas mileage is about 12-13, and the o2 sensors are about 6 months old. I know my car has more in it right now with my current combo. I know everyone is going to say "GEARS!!" but my goal is to run 12s with my 308s. I also set my tokicos to full soft to help with the launch but I dont think it helped much. My previous best before the heads/cam was a 14.18 @ 100.4. Any comments/suggestions/criticisms welcome. ------------------ Clint L. White 95 Cobra #3637 R lookalike with lots of goodies |

![]() Way to go Clint!!! I knew you'd break into the 13's. You already said it but you need to cut that fuel back buddy. The homemade air tube- well you know how good it worked for me- 1 tenth and 1mph. I really don't think you need an ignition, at least not yet, with a NA motor the factory unit will suffice. Why do you want to go 12's with 3.08's? I just swapped out my 3.73's for 4.10's tonight to get my heavy sled up and running, I also replaced the clutch pack in my rear, so I should cut 1.8 60's now, if I don't something is wrong. My posi was so bad that I had broken off all the clips on the disc in the rear! I'm lucky it didn't lock up on me. I got my AFR heads last night, now I'm just waiting for my FTI cam and FMS RR's. Keep me posted as to how you do. I'm going to the track sunday, hopefully I'll knock out a 13.7 with some luck.

![]() Clint- if your gonna be in cleveland we'll have to meet up and go to salem dragway in Ohio. I have yet to go there as I hear that times are about 1 tenth slower there than at Keystone where I race. Heck, you could probably come down to Keystone as well, I think its about a 2 hour trip though. Salem is probably about 1-1.5 hours from cleveland. There are some great dyno tuners in cleveland. My cousin actually got offered an internship with ford this summer, I think he is going to Michigan in a few weeks to check it out, they invited him up. If you come to my track we'll throw on my Nitto's to see how you do. Keep in touch.
