Default temporary trac-lock fix

I changed my differential oil a few days ago, and since my trac-lock was worn out i decided to skip the friction modifier additive. Well after spending hours trying to get the differential filled up i was through and took the car out for a test drive. Now the car can spin both tires anytime i stomp on it. I guess the extra friction caused by skipping the additive helps the clutches grip.

I like an escalator because an escalator can never break. It can only become stairs. There'd never be an escalator out of order sign, only escalator temporarily stairs-sorry for the inconvenience sign.

I added some stuff called "posi trak" in a tube, upon my diff oil change, i added a whole tube, my rearend actualy spun both tires e.t. streets to a smokey burnout, but now after about 15 hard runs, i can feel one let go on the burnout, but that may be cuz of the pinion leak i have, or somewhere im leaking a small amount of gear oil??

leaving out the posi additive reduces the slippage, and will get a worn rear end to hook up. Unfortunately, it will also eat up what's left of the material on the clutches 3 times faster. It's a temporary fix that will eat up your rear end in a hurry. Kind of like using F type tranny fluid in a GM tranny.

Take care,
-Chris

I was just explaining why you had the results you did.

Take care,
