![]() Well, i was wondering, would getting a larger throttle body and MAF be of any use on a stock motor? Also...are the ones on 5.0's 53mm stock?

![]() Matching the TB size to any motor is always a good idea. In one dyno test performed by 5.0 Magazine, they had a mildly modified 302 (heads, intake, cam) test mule. I believe the 65 mm was the best. However, it should be noted that in some cases, a larger TB provided higher peak HP, but with loses across the lower to middle power band.
On a near stock motor, stick with the factory TB. E

![]() Ditto.
Except someone even tested a bigger TB on high hp motor, and said that the dyno showed no improvement, and lost drivability. I'm sticking with my 65mm on the 500hp combo I'm building.

![]() When I changed my MAF from the stock unit to the C&L 76mm, I noticed a nice improvement. The car seems to pull harder after 3000 rpm and doesn't stop until redline. I still have the stock TB.
