Question Ignition

Okay, I just read the thread about the ignition upgrade. Most everyone agreed that the stock is fine, but I don't remember (crs) what years you all said were fine. Is the stock ignition system okay for 1986?
Thanks, Teacher

Lightbulb EEC-IV ignition

Yes, the '86 Mustang 5.0 ignition is the EEC-IV system, same as the later models. Very efficient.

Thank you very much, Mr. 5 0.

Now that's some money I won't have to spend.
