Question Clutch Problems!!!

I have been trying to figure out what is wrong with the clutch in my 88 for a little while now. I have changed the clutch, and clutch cable. The problem is this, in order to go anywhere you have to put the clutch RIGHT to the floor and as soon as you let it out a little bit it grabs right away. The next thing i can think of changing is the quadrant. And the only other thing i could think of besides it being that is the pivot ball is messed up. What do you guys think. Any help would be greatly appreciated
