Talking MW Gets New Horsepower

During this entire week, mustangworks.com will be changing over to an entirely new hosting solution. You should notice performance increases in the speed of the forums, and everything else, especially if you have a good Internet connection (i.e. broadband). The Mustang Works will now have three new dedicated 1.53 Ghz servers behind it with a fractional T3 connection to the Internet.

I have already changed the DNS over for the forums. The rest of the site will be changed over the next two days.

I still use a dial-up connection (don't ask why ) so the improved speed is a welcome addition to an already wonderful web site. Keep up the excellent work!!

Dan is the Man. That's one reason why this site is what it is today. He puts a lot of dedication into Mustang Works. I try and support this site in whatever way I can.

Well everything looks to be running on the new servers fine now. The transition was fairly smooth with just a few snags with the ad system yesterday...

Thanks to everyone for all your positive comments. It does indeed take a great deal of investment just to keep Mustang Works functioning, not to mention doing new things and adding to it. It's great to know that a lot of my fellow Mustang enthusiasts not only appreciate the work we do, but benefit from it too. It's awesome that we have such a great community here.
